Brannan Cottage Inn is excited to share that we’ve been honored by Tripadvisor for the sixth year in a row, this time receiving their new Tripadvisor Travelers Choice Award.
This recognition from Tripadvisor is one that we’re pretty familiar with, just with a new name.
What used to be known as the “Certificate of Excellence” that we received each year from 2015 – 2019 is now the Travelers Choice Award. Regardless of the name, we are always beyond excited to hear that our guests enjoy their experience staying with us.
We know that Tripadvisor is such a widely used platform for travelers of all kinds, so it means the world to know that we’re doing something right. It also keeps us motivated and excited about keeping the guest experience fresh, fun, and new for our guests who stay with us repeatedly.

If you haven’t stayed with us yet, or it’s been a while, a lot has changed – especially regarding safety and COVID-related regulations. We are diligently following all of the mandated CDC guidelines. Guest rooms are disinfected with an antibacterial fogger. We’re conducting daily health screenings of all of our staff and practicing social distancing in all public spaces. We offer contactless check-in and provide a complimentary protective amenity kit upon check-in.

This change was one of the inspirations behind changing up their whole awards structure. You might be used to seeing their awards in association with BCI since we’ve been getting them for so many years in a row, but do you know how they choose recipients?
